Yes, you heard right! As much as that animated video of the song is cool, there is another one that I think is far better than it. And here it is!

Pretty cool, huh? :) Seriously, this video deserves as much views as the "Ghosts" has. Seeing this made me think back on some of my favorite animated movies that blended 2D animation with 3D visuals, and that's something I can get behind on.

After seeing that, I did some research on the video's director, Juanjo Guardino, and it turns out that he's a former Disney animator and graphic novel artist of Blacksad. I may just as well check out that graphic novel since it does have anthropomorphic characters. =P

While I may have your attention, it's time that I did an update. There hasn't been a lot happening since I last wrote my last update. I wasn't able to get to draw a Castlevania-related picture, and that's okay. I'll have an opportunity to get to the idea. :) Speaking of Castlevania, I did manage to finish Symphony of the Night a week before Halloween. And just like the drawing idea, I'll have opportunities to get to the other Castlevania games I had hopes in playing last month.

Symphony of the Night was loads of fun playing for the very first time. I've always been a fan of the Metroidvania-style of games, and this was a blast! Yes, I did have my frustrations with the game during the second half as the enemies got tougher, and it became very unforgiving to some extent. Even Alucard moved too slow for my liking. Yes, I know I could have used his sidestep to go fast, but that would have been silly and repetitive to have done so. Despite all that, this was a very solid game. :) Castlevania: Symphony of the Night earns an 8 out of 10 in my book.

The 3DS has been occupying my gaming time as of late. If it isn't checking Streetpasses for mini-games, it's mixing it up with Pokemon X, Tomodachi Life, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Now I know I shouldn't be playing all these games at once, but I'm having a lot of fun with my new handheld. XD Besides those games, I also have Shinobi and Dead or Alive Dimensions.

To all you 3DS users, any recommendations you all might have? Be sure to explain why you think I should look into them as well. :)

Now that I think on it, I did actually do an inked piece that I'm rather proud of. I consider it a mixture of a belated Inkober and Halloween picture. If you read its description, you'll see why it's also considered a Halloween picture. =P

Animal Gunwarriors No. 58 - Eddie

And now we move onto movies that I've seen of late. There are two I can recall seeing since the last time I updated. They happen to be John Wick and Big Hero 6.

For John Wick, it's one of those shoot-em up movies that isn't so much about story as it is about how stylish action scenes can be pulled off. Now I enjoyed it for the most part even though it's just an over-the-top body count movie. Keanu Reeves fits well with the movie's titular character. Let's just say that if Hotline Miami were to have been turned into a movie, John Wick would be the result. lol Fans of action movies like Die Hard might find some enjoyment in this. :) And just as the reviews have said, it's Keanu Reeve's best action movie since The Matrix. I give it a 3 out of 4 stars.

Finally, we have Big Hero 6, the Disney animated feature of this year. I loved this movie to death. Everything from the diverse cast of characters and rich colors to the movie's heartwarming moments and Henry Jackman's score. I want the soundtrack to this movie so much! This movie has become another big superhero surprise next to Guardians of the Galaxy. So when my top movies list of 2014 comes, expect to see this movie bumping The Lego Movie out of its No. 2 spot. XD And now I must do some Rocket Raccoon and Baymax fan art at some point. This movie gets a 4 out of 4 stars.

Speaking of art, Christmas time is approaching, and I don't know if I'll have enough time to do the sketches that I would usually do for friends. Last year, I wasn't able to deliver to all that I wanted to do sketch wise... So I will have to look into a different alternative if I can. I can't make any promises, but we shall see what will happen. Even if I am unable to do sketches for Christmas, I plan to do fan art of other people's characters since it'll give me an excuse to draw their character without having to worry about receiving commissions. lol But as I said, we shall see.

And that does it for now! I apologize if this journal doesn't flow so well. I mostly want to share this awesome music video. =P

Take care now! A Christmas wishlist will happen once Thanksgiving is out of the way. So be on the lookout for it. :)

This is Eddie the Wolf, and that's the bottom line!
