Description
Quote from Batty in the movie Blade Runner
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
Time to die.
This is a gift to for the two pieces he did for me.
If you look through his gallery, he usually has his character, Ray, enjoying himself standing in the rain. Or was it depressed? Oh well. I recall seeing a more recent deviation from him that had Ray smiling while in the rain, and I thought maybe I could do something like this with my fursona and his character.
After all the sketching, line arting, and coloring was done, the challenge came when I had to come up with the rain effects. I did manage to fine a tutorial that showed how to do it. It was fun going through the process. You always learn something new everyday.
Finally, I wanted to add subtitles to give it that screenshot look, and I think it turned out pretty well. The background is nothing to admire since I didn't know what to put for a background. Oh well.
Anyway, hope you all enjoy!
